Tagore Theatre

Tagore Theatre in Chandigarh was built in the memory of Gurudev Rabindernath Tagore under the Government of India sponsored scheme during the Tagore Centenary Celebrations. The Tagore Theatre started its functions in September 1962. It provides a platform to the performing artists to hone their talent besides pursuing its main objective to encourage and promote the performing/folk form of arts.
