THEATRE WORKSHOPS FOR STUDENTS OF SCHOOL DURING SUMMER BREAK
The Department of Cultural Affairs in collaboration with Tagore Theatre Society organizes Theatre Workshops for imparting training to the students during summer vacations.

NAAD VATIKA – CULTURE IN PARKS
The Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration has been organising musical concert NAAD VATIKA – Culture in Parks since May, 2015 to promote Classical Music/Instruments through local Artists amongst the residents of the city for the promotion of Classical music. The Department organizes 60 to 75 minutes Classical musical activities on Saturday at Rose Garden in Chandigarh. The main aim of the Administration is to motivate local artists by giving chance to perform in the Naad Vatika and to promote Classical Music/Shastriya sangeet amongst the youngster of city beautiful.

NATIONAL CLASSICAL DANCE FESTIVAL
The Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration Chandigarh organizes National Classical Dance Festival during the month of July every year at Tagore Theatre, Sector – 18, Chandigarh wherein local groups along with groups from other parts of the country show-case their performances.

CHANDIGARH THEATRE FESTIVAL
The Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration organizes Theatre Festival at Tagore Theatre during the month of August, wherein renowned groups of the country performed their talent in the field of drama and theatre. The showcased Play ‘Chanakya’ had been staged and directed by renowned Theatre Artists Sh.Manoj Joshi. In the direction of Sh.Rajinder Nath, National School of Drama Repertory, New Delhi has staged “Ghasiram Kotwal” After that a famous Play ‘The Perfect Wife directed by Sh. Rakesh Bedi had been staged and another famous play by renowned directors will staged during this festival.

ARTS AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL
Department of Cultural Affairs has been organising Chandigarh Arts and Heritage Festival It is a festival committed to establishing Chandigarh as a global destination for the arts and driving cultural tourism. In this festival Various activities had been carried out during the Festival. Renowed group from all over India presented their talents in the field of Classical Dance, drama and music during the Festival.

CHANDIGARH NATIONAL CRAFTS MELA
The Cultural Affairs Department, Chandigarh Administration in collaboration with the North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala organises Chandigarh National Crafts Mela from at Kalagram. With the different themes every year. The “NORTH TO NORTH EAST(Kashmir to Kohima)” was the theme of the 7 th Chandigarh National Crafts Mela and Designed on the pattern of Surajkund Mela. Lacs of domestic as well as international Tourists have visit Crafts Mela. More than 200 national and state awardees and over 300 folk dancers from across the country have participated.
Vibrant stalls, dance performances by folk artistes, mouth-watering cuisines, melodies streaming from musical instruments and breathtaking artifacts from all parts of the country were the highlights of the crafts Mela.

INTERNATIONAL PUPPET FESTIVAL
1. The Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration incollaboration with Tagore Theatre Society, Sector – 18, Chandigarh organized International Puppet Festival at Tagore Theatre, Sector – 18, Chandigarh wherein international groups from wherein international groups from Portugal, Afghanistan, Taiwan India and different parts ofthe country show their performances.

JASPAL BHATTI HUMOR FESTIVAL
The Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration organised two days Jaspal Bhatti Humor Festival at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh in order to memories the contribution of Late Sh.Jaspal Bhatti towards Theatre/Arts.Famous Artists from Mumbai, Delhi, Punjab have participated in this festival. AIB, Jaswinder Bhalla, Bal MUkand Sharma, Rana Ranbir, Surendra Sharma,Deepak Raja, Amit Tandon, Rupesh Tillu and Sumedh Shinde were the star attractions in this festival. This Festival is a commendable effort to pay respect to Sh.Jaspal Bhatti for his ground breaking work.
